Tomi Lahren, a conservative commentator who came to prominence during the 2016 election campaign and who now works for The Blaze, appeared Friday on The View. During her discussion with the co-hosts of the show she announced that she is pro-choice.
Her reasoning, she explained, was that it would be hypocritical to support limited government while also wanting the government to dictate “what women do with their bodies,” according to the Dallas News. Her surprising revelation sparked controversy on Twitter, first with her boss, Glenn Beck, after she tweeted this.
I have moderate, conservative, and libertarian views. I’m human. I will never apologize, to anyone, for being an independent thinker.

But it turns out the 24-year-old blonde had flipped her viewpoint on the question of life. She ranted against Lena Dunham on the topic during the “Final Thoughts” segment on her show in December.
“Think about it: The pro-choicers are supposed to be about rare and safe abortions. That’s how they avoid sounding like straight-up baby killers …” Lahren said. “Then we have Lena freakin’ Dunham out there wishing she could have murdered a fetus.”

She apparently also changed her view on climate change in the past.

Conservatives slammed Lahren on Twitter. Dana Loesch tweeted this regarding the brouhaha.
Furthermore, you can’t enjoy the right to liberty and the pursuit of happiness without first the right to life. #Unalienable

Lahren insisted that Republicans do not exist as a monolith. Has her seemingly new pro-choice view changed your opinion of her as a true conservative?
