Malik Obama – half-brother to Barack Obama – is a well-known avid Donald Trump supporter who voted for him in the 2016 election. A tweet he just sent out may have revived the birther theory that Trump fully engaged in – and then dismissed – during the former president’s administration.
On March 9, Malik took to Twitter with the image of a Kenyan birth certificate bearing Barack Obama’s name. He wrote, “Surely. What’s this?”

The birth certificate bears the letterhead of the Coast Province General Hospital in Mombasa, Kenya.
The Daily Mail dissed the new birth certificate as a forgery allegedly offered for sale on eBay in 2009 by Lucas Smith, who asked $1,000,000 for the document.
The certificate lists Barack Hussein Obama and Stanley Ann Obama (nee Dunham) as the parents of the younger Barack, who weighed in at 7 pounds 1 ounce on August 4, 1961.
Malik fired back at the Daily Mail with this tweet:
Malicious Malik? Daily Mail is SuperCuck newspaper Top Grade! https://t.co/LtkLyfuY1J

Many still question the authenticity of the long-form birth certificate presented by Barack Obama in 2011, which lists him as being born at Kapiolani Maternity and Gynecological Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii.
What do you think of this newly released document? Real or forgery?
