Fox News Senior Judicial Analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano says that Susan Rice could be in serious trouble once she is called to testify before the House Intelligence Committee hearings on Russia and the 2016 election.
Appearing Tuesday on “Fox and Friends”, the judge stated that Congressman Trey Gowdy (R-SC) could “trap” her if cross-examined before the House Intelligence Committee. If she misleads Congress, she could go to jail.
Napolitano also thinks that she would be prosecuted, saying, “I think the Trump administration is so furious, they will lay a trap for her and see in she will fall into it.”
“If you are under oath, as you will be, then there’s two potential crimes. Lying under oath and misleading,” he continued. “She has a track record of misleading. Serious, public misleading.”
Last week, Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) stated that she needs to explain one important question.
“She needs to be asked, ‘did President Obama ask her to do this? Was this a directive from President Obama? I think she should testify under oath on this.”
