Most snipers spend thousands of hours training to blend into the background, not moving a muscle as they await their target. They do their job and slip silently away to their next mission.
That was not the case with this ISIS sniper. He positioned himself in the window of a building and was happily shooting away, seemingly oblivious to the fact that the fire flash from his weapon could reveal his position.
As a recon helicopter arrived on the scene the sniper kept on firing . . . this time, at the helicopter. That didn’t go so well. The flash of the sniper rifle gave away the ISIS gunman’s position and that was it – an instant one-way ticket to his 72 virgins.
Keep up the good work Iraqi Army!
